Job Title: Project Accountant

Position Summary:

We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Project Accountant to support our operations in Moundridge, KS. This role is critical to ensuring financial accuracy across our manufacturing projects. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in accounts receivable, accounts payable, general ledger reconciliations, and aging collections, with prior experience in a manufacturing environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Handle full-cycle accounts payable (AP) and accounts receivable (AR) for project-related transactions.

• Perform general ledger (GL) reconciliations and ensure timely resolution of discrepancies.

• Monitor and manage aging reports, proactively following up on overdue balances and driving collections.

• Prepare accurate and timely financial reports related to ongoing manufacturing projects.

• Support month-end and year-end close processes specific to project accounting.

• Collaborate with project managers and manufacturing teams to align budgets and expenditures.

• Maintain audit-ready records and ensure compliance with company policies and accounting standards.

Qualifications:

• Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field preferred.

• Minimum 2 years of accounting experience in a manufacturing environment required.

• Strong understanding of AR/AP processes, GL reconciliations, and collections strategies.

• Proficient in accounting software and Microsoft Excel.

• High attention to detail, strong analytical skills, and effective communication abilities.
